    The mat is secured to the load bed and the inside of the tailgate with adhesive tape and glue. The soft surface of the mat prevents cargo from sliding and protects it from scuffs and scratches.

    Note: Ford recommends installing load bed reinforcements to ensure structural integrity when accessories are installed in a raised position for carrying cargo. If load bed reinforcements are not already installed at the factory (all Raptor vehicles manufactured before October 17, 2024, all other Ranger vehicles manufactured before February 5, 2025), they are available separately as a Ford service part.     The mat is attached to the loading area and the inside of the tailgate with adhesive tape and glue. The soft surface of the mat prevents the load from sliding and protects it from abrasion and scratches.

    Please note: Ford recommends fitting cargo area reinforcements to ensure its structural integrity if accessories are installed in a raised position for transporting cargo. If the cargo area reinforcements are not already installed in the factory (all Raptor vehicles manufactured before 17 October 2024, all other Ranger vehicles manufactured before 5 February 2025), they are available separately as a Ford service part.
