    Allows you to comfortably open the tailgate, without having to hold it with your hand to prevent it from swinging open. It provides increased safety in the event of careless operation and prevents damage to the hinges.

    Note: Ford recommends fitting loadspace reinforcements to ensure the structural integrity of the loadspace when accessories are installed in a raised position for carrying cargo. If loadspace reinforcements are not already fitted at the factory (all Raptor vehicles manufactured before 17 October 2025, all other Ranger vehicles manufactured before 5 February 2025), they are available separately as a Ford service part.     Product detailed description

    The installed hydraulic damper makes it easier and safer to open the tailgate. The damper absorbs the energy of the door's movement, which prevents it from suddenly swinging open, but instead opens slowly and smoothly.

    Allows you to conveniently open the tailgate, which you do not have to hold with your hand to prevent sudden tilting. Ensures increased safety during careless operation and prevents damage to the hinges.

    Please note: Ford recommends fitting cargo area reinforcements to ensure its structural integrity if accessories are installed in a raised position for transporting cargo. If cargo area reinforcements are not already fitted at the factory (all Raptor vehicles manufactured before October 17, 2025, all other Ranger vehicles manufactured before February 5, 2025), they are available separately as a Ford service part.
