Cleaning and regenerating additive for diesel particulate filters.

Particulate filter cleaning and regeneration additive is an organo-metallic based diesel fuel additive used as a catalyst for particulate filter regeneration. It reduces the ignition temperature of soot collected in the particulate filter and optimises the regular combustion of accumulated soot. This process is called filter regeneration.
The unique combination of a clean fuel system, clean combustion with lower emissions and catalyzed soot particles will help keep the particulate filter unit, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, turbocharger and its variable geometry clean and free of deposits. Regeneration at a lower temperature also prevents the engine oil from heating up prematurely, thus preventing premature engine wear.

Instructions for use

Before refuelling, pour the entire contents of the bottle into the fuel tank. It is recommended to use it continuously, at least every fifth refuelling. With the added additive, drive continuously before refuelling at least 30-50 km.

Do not use when running on pure biodiesel fuel. When mixing mineral and biodiesel fuel, it may only be used if the ratio of the biodiesel component does not exceed 10%.

The pack will treat 40 - 60 litres of diesel fuel. Suitable for use with additive Metabond Megasel.
